THE WAR
The United States of America is the greatest country ever conceived. Two of my children have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have sought to defend our country, its ideals and the people within its borders. To think that a child of yours would be willing to put their life on the line to preserve your safety and way of life is a thought that gives any parent not only such pride, but the sense that we have the awesome responsibility to only send our children where and when they can do the greatest good.
We must continue our drawdown in Iraq in the swiftest and safest manner possible. We must continually reevaluate our standing in Afghanistan as to what is in the best interest of our national security.
