Primary Election Win
Friday, March 12th at 5:00 pm marked the end of the period for candidates to file to be on the June Primary ballot. Only one person qualified for the Democratic nomination for United States Congress from the 41st District. That person was Pat Meagher. That means that Pat has already won the June Primary election is on track to defeat Jerry Lewis in November.
California Democratic Party Endorsement
On Saturday, March 20th Pat Meagher was officially endorsed by the California Democratic Party as the Democratic candidate for Congress from the 41st District.

Pat Meagher Tours the District
On March 18th, Pat Meagher, Democratic Congressional Candidate, toured part of the District he hopes to represent. “We traveled 303 miles and hit Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, Pioneer Town, Landers, and Lucerne Valley. People were very receptive when we started talking about the issues. Two Chamber of Commerce people even asked us if we were sure that I was a Democrat. They really liked what we had to say, and their local issues were quite fascinating.” Next week Pat will travel deeper into the District listening to peoples concerns and explaining how they can benefit from new representation.
